DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Responsible for:

  • Recruitment and selection of employees based on applicants’   credentials and qualifications including training and licensure.
  • Use a consistent and non-discriminating process to select employees.      
  • Coordinate an orientation program for all new employees, including an introduction to the organization, staff and employee rules and responsibilities.


HOME CARE WORKER

  • Follow the plan of care to provide safe, competent care/service to the client.
  • Help the client to maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthful, safe environment.
  •  Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  •  Encourage the client to become as independent as possible according to the care plan.
  •  Attempt to promote client's mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest.
  •  Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the client and other members of   the household and establishes a relationship with client and family which transmit trust and confidentiality.
  •  Perform routine housekeeping tasks as related to a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
  •  Work with personnel of other community agencies involved in the client's care.
  •  Confer with the Supervisor about the client's status and care, participate in the planning of service.

PAYROLL / BILLING / RECEIVABLES MANAGER

  •  Supervise staff payroll, accounts payable and third-party billing.
  •  Process accounts payable according to Agency policy, posts expense and income to appropriate accounts, reviews all charges monthly.
  •  Bill outside agencies and third-party payers.
  •  Supervise and coordinate credit and collection to include completion of all necessary paperwork and data entry.
  •  Supervise the completion of all required insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid forms in a timely manner.
  •  Review and analyze all financial reports with the Administrator / Agency manager.
  •  Assist with audits.
  •  Verify and assure time slips are signed and in the office on time, assure there are notes for each entry on the time slips.
  •  Take care of any necessary payroll and billing adjustments.

COORDINATOR

  • Coordinates client care among disciplines.
  • Confers with supervising aides on problems and complaints.
  •  Reviews and directs case management notes, documenting change of aide, change in service, telephone complaints, etc.
  •  Supervises the completion of intake forms and their appropriate routing for admission approval.
  •  Supervises the scheduling of appropriately skilled person to fill the case; the inputting of the scheduling information on the computer and continue to supervise the coordination of the scheduling.
  •  Supervises the scheduling of replacement workers as needed and the input of the scheduling information.
  •  Communicates with clients/families on direct care employee related issues.
  •  Handles matters related to staff and the client they serve.
  •  Oversees the documentation and reporting of changes in client status, in service requirements, in and employee staff assignment and in particular, any unsatisfactory performance.
  • Prepares written performance evaluations of field staff 

RECEPTIONIST

  • Greet people, answer the phones, and do light clerical duties. 
  • Greet people as they enter the Agency, answer calls, answer general information questions, screen visitors, and deliver messages.
  • Type memos, correspondence, agendas and reports as required.
  • Assist with accounting functions as assigned, e.g., ledger entering, account   processing, etc.  
  • Make appointments and inform staff members of meetings. 
  • Maintain   files for the Agency. 
  • Open   and sort mail.
  • Photocopy as required.
  •  Perform other duties as required.
